My Background - Fertility Coaching
I’ve had first-hand experience of fertility issues, suffering from both a pituitary tumour and endometriosis. I started my journey 17 years ago and have spent most of my adult life researching and treating infertility. One of the most frustrating parts of fertility issues is the time it can take to get the necessary tests, diagnosis and consultant referrals, individuals and couples can waste sometimes many years just trying to get to the bottom of why they aren't conceiving, quite often ending up with a diagnosis of unexplained infertility. With many people starting their fertility journey later in life, often time is of the essence and people can't afford to waste it. Fertility coaching can help avoid unnecessary delays in treatment.
Holistic approach to fertility.
Many of the people that I have treated over the years have also never been given advice on taking a more holistic approach to fertility. Diet, lifestyle, stress levels, exercise can all have an impact on not only our wellbeing but on our ability to conceive and carry a pregnancy to full term.
Fertility Coaching - our approach.
The way in which we approach our fertility coaching is slightly different to most. We recognise that each person is an individual and is on their own fertility journey. We offer one to one coaching and charge by the hour rather than asking you to buy packages. Sometimes one conversation is enough to set you back on the path to parenthood. We look to help you understand what's happening to your body during your cycle and can explain in detail the condition you have been diagnosed with and what you can do to help yourself.
We also work with you to ensure that you have a positive family building experience, we teach you to take charge of your fertility and help to ensure that you avoid delays in your treatment. Most importantly we will help you feel confident, empowered and calm about the journey ahead.
Fertility Coaching can help with the following:
Understanding your cycle and the signs of ovulation, helping to determine if you are ovulating and when.
Helping you understand your test results.
Helping you understand the diagnosis you have been given and what you can do to help yourself.
Explaining the IVF process to you and what you can do to optimise your chances of success.
Offer you impartial advice on male and female additional testing.
Helping you to manage your stress levels through self-care and a positive mindset.
Helping you make decisions on what to do next.
